There is no such place as Gu County in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.

Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province, is also referred to as běng(bοng), which was called Jinyang in ancient times. Also known as Longcheng, a national historical and cultural city, a national garden city, a core city of taiyuan metropolitan, and a political, economic, cultural, transportation and international exchange center of Shanxi Province. It is a city with a history of more than 4700 years and 2500 years. Taiyuan is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the Fenhe River, the second largest tributary of the Yellow River, flows from north to south. Taiyuan City is located in Taiyuan Basin in the north-central part of Shanxi Province, bordering Xinzhou City in the north, Yangquan City in the east, Lvliang City in the west and Jinzhong City in the south. Its geographical coordinates are11130' ~11309' and 37 27' ~ 38' north latitude.

Taiyuan has a total area of 6,988 square kilometers and a total population of 4,298,900 (20 14)[2]. Among them, the total area of Taiyuan is 1460 square kilometers, and the built-up area of downtown Taiyuan is 400 square kilometers at the end of 20 12, with a permanent population of 3 million and a floating population of 1 10,000.

Located in Xinghualing District and yingze district, west of Jianshe Road, east of Binhe Road, south of North Street and north of South Inner Ring Street, it is a traditional inner city. With the expansion of the city, Wanbailin District, xiaodian district, jiancaoping district and Jinyuan District are also considered as inner cities, forming the concept of "six districts of the city".

Guxian Town is located 25 kilometers east of Tongbai County, with east longitude113 38 ′ and north latitude 32 26 ′. It is adjacent to Xinyang City, Henan Province in the east, Suizhou City, Hubei Province across the Huaihe River in the south, and adjacent to Yuehe Town, wucheng town and Huanggang Township of Tongbai County in the west and north respectively. The total area of Guxian Town 122.4 square kilometers; Administer 12 administrative villages and 189 villagers' groups.
