When was the flood storage area in Xiaoxian County, Suzhou completed?

The recent harnessing project of other depressions, such as flood storage and detention areas along the Huaihe River, is one of the major water conservancy projects in the State Council 172. In order to ensure the smooth construction of the project and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people in the project area, from May 9 to February 3, 20241day, the short-term control project scope of the flood storage and detention area along the Huaihe River in Anhui Province is to stop new construction projects and control population migration areas (hereinafter referred to as "control areas").

The control areas involve: Xiaoxian County, Wuhe County, Huaiyuan County and Yuhui District of Suzhou City, Bengbu Economic Development Zone and High-tech Zone, jieshou city, Taihe County, Linquan County, Yingshang County and Funan County, Yingquan District, yingdong district and Yingzhou District of Fuyang City, Fengtai County, Shouxian County, Xiejiaji District, datong district and Tianjiaan District of Huainan City, and mingguang city and Chuzhou City.

Within the specific scope of the control area, no unit or individual may build, rebuild or expand projects, develop land, build houses and other facilities, or newly plant perennial cash crops and trees.

According to the circular, it is forbidden to move into the control area except for normal transfer after going through the relevant procedures, couples taking refuge, minor children moving or taking refuge, retired soldiers, college graduates and released prisoners returning to their original places. There are no restrictions on giving birth to babies in the control area.

According to the requirements, the people's government where the project is located should earnestly strengthen leadership, strictly implement relevant regulations, and stop illegal capital construction and population migration in the control area according to law.

The project legal person or competent unit shall, jointly with the local people's government of the project, investigate, register and verify the physical indicators of land acquisition for project construction in the control area in accordance with the relevant provisions, and file a card after being signed and publicized by the immigrant head of household or the relocation unit, and the local people's government shall sign opinions.
