Texas

Texas originally belonged to Mexico. 182 1 year, Texas is a part of Spain's new Spanish colony. After Mexico's independence, Texas became a part of Mexico's Abela and Tejas. From A.D. 1820, American and European immigrants began to come to this area. Mexico declared its independence from Spain, and Texas declared its independence from Mexico on March 2, 1836. American Indian tribes that once lived in present-day Texas include Apache, Atacapan, Biday, Kado, Comanche, Cherokee, Kiowa, Tongkawa, Wichita, Waco and karanka Wa in Galveston. At present, there are three native American tribes recognized by the federal government living in Texas: Alabama-Kushata tribe in Texas, Kikapu traditional tribe in Texas and Isleta del Surpueblo tribe in Texas.
