Who knows Wang Ji, the son of Wang Shuchang?

1933, Wang Ji was born in a prominent family in the northeast. His father was an expert in the Northeast Army and was Zhang's chief of staff. Because of this background, Wang Ji is closely related to some key figures in China's modern history, such as Zhang Xueliang. 1September, 1949, 16-year-old Wang Ji graduated from middle school and immediately immigrated to the United States, where he studied at the University of Maryland and Georgetown University. Influenced by his father's idea of "ruling the country by agriculture", Wang Ji chose "agricultural science" as an undergraduate, but a few years later he turned to study the history he was interested in. After graduating from college, he stayed at Georgetown University to teach until he became a professor in the history department. 1957, by chance, Wang Ji found a part-time job in the Library of Congress. With a solid foundation of Chinese studies, he quickly gained the appreciation of the leaders of the Chinese Department. 10 years later, he became the head of the Chinese department without any dispute, and he worked until he retired in 2004.
