Do I need a visa to go to Palau?

To go to Palau, you only need to apply for a visa on arrival.

China has no diplomatic relations with Palau, and Palau implements a visa-on-arrival system. Foreigners need to hold a passport valid for more than 6 months and present a flight ticket from Pagoda. They can enter the country and stay for 30 days. If they need to extend their stay after entry, they need to apply to the Immigration Bureau for an extension at least 7 days in advance. They can extend it up to two times each time. Every 30 days, a handling fee of USD 50 is required each time.

Each adult passenger can bring up to one bottle of wine and one opened pack of cigarettes (19 sticks) duty-free to Palau. The amount of U.S. dollars carried with him or her must not exceed 10,000 U.S. dollars. Any amount exceeding 10,000 U.S. dollars must be declared and filed. Pay 5% tax. Passengers coming from cholera and yellow fever epidemic areas must provide proof of vaccination of the corresponding vaccines.
