The Historical Evolution of Wuwang Town
1958 established the prince of Wu commune, and 1983 changed to township. 1997, with an area of 24 1 km2 and a population of 28,000, governs Wuwang, Yanggou, Xinlin, Fang Ting, Dadian, Tanzhuang, Shi Xia, Luo Zhuang, Fengmen Qingxu Palace, Gong Yu, Yingmen, Tangwa, Linshan, Xiping, Dongxishan, Heping and Tieshan. In 2006, it administered 44 administrative villages: Wuwang Village, Yanggou Village, xin lin cun Village, Fang Ting Village, Dadian Village, Tanzhuang Village, Shixia Village, Luo Zhuang Village, Fengmen Village, Qingxugong Village, Gong Yu Village, Yingmen Village, Tangwa Village, Linshan Village, Xiping Village, Dongxishan Village, Heping Village, Tieshan Village, Mayuan Village and Taihuan Village. At the end of 2007, Wuwang Township withdrew from the township and set up a town.
