How far is the migration near the reservoir?

Legal analysis: there is no clear stipulation on how far the reservoir needs to be resettled, and the regulations of the local government shall prevail. Reservoir immigrants, that is, water conservancy project immigrants, refer to people who have to move their residence to other places because of the needs of water conservancy projects and according to government arrangements, also known as reservoir immigrants. The state has a series of laws, administrative regulations, normative documents, departmental rules and normative documents, as well as supporting policies in the later period to ensure the smooth development and sustainable development of water conservancy project immigrants. Production resettlement immigrants are immigrants whose land acquisition from reservoirs affects the means of production and needs to solve their livelihood problems.

Legal basis: Article 7 of the State Council's Opinions on Improving the Support Policies for Large and Medium-sized Reservoir Resettlement stipulates: (1) The resettlement plan shall make arrangements for rural resettlement, urban relocation, relocation of industrial and mining enterprises, relocation or reconstruction of special facilities, construction of protection projects, development and utilization of reservoir waters, support measures for reservoir resettlement, compensation for land acquisition and budgetary estimate of resettlement funds;

(two) reservoir water caused by the flood line above the affected areas of production and life difficulties, should be included in the resettlement plan, in accordance with the principle of economic and reasonable properly handled. The compensation for the flooded area of the reservoir shall be investigated by the relevant competent department of the reservoir.
