Dalian accent is indeed very similar to Jiaodong language family, and it can also be said that it belongs to Jiaodong language family. In fact, the spoken languages of the three northeastern provinces are very different. The pronunciation of Heilongjiang is very different from that of Jilin and Liaoning. In fact, the northeast dialect refers to the accents of Jilin and Liaoning, and the accent of Heilongjiang is more inclined to Mandarin, which is caused by specific historical reasons. Dalian belongs to Liaoning, but its historical evolution is similar to that of Heilongjiang.

Heilongjiang was developed by mainland immigrants. Although Heilongjiang is the focus of immigration, Dalian is also one of the main areas, so Dalian's accent has changed a lot, and all of them speak Mandarin of the Qing Dynasty. The Dalian accent also absorbed many native pronunciation skills, and was more integrated with the Northeast dialect, forming an accent system independent of the Northeast dialect. The Qing dynasty never stopped developing Dalian, including immigration and diaspora, which were all policies to accelerate immigration.

In the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, it was the choice of many bankrupt farmers. The influx of a large number of people into Northeast China has also brought unique accents from all over the country. As a port city, Dalian is still attractive to immigrants. Moreover, since modern times, military disasters have occurred frequently in Jiaodong, and the population outflow has become more serious. As a port city, Jiaodong people prefer Dalian. During this period, Dalian developed rapidly, and the number of people absorbed exploded. It is likely that Jiaodong immigrants dominated the process of accent change and finally established a unique accent system. Moreover, the Jiaodong language family already includes Jiaodong and Liaodong, and Liaodong originally belongs to the northeast.
