The Hanjiang River flows through Shaanxi and Hubei provinces and joins the Yangtze River at Longwang Temple in Hankou, Wuhan.
Shaanxi Province and Hubei Province. Hanjiang River originates from Micang Mountain in the north of ningqiang county, Hanzhong City, southwest Shaanxi Province, and flows through Hanzhong and Ankang in the southeast of Shaanxi Province. In western and central Hubei, it flows into western Hubei and flows into Danjiangkou Reservoir after passing Shiyan in the north. After leaving the reservoir, it flows to the southeast, passes through Xiangyang, Yicheng, Zhongxiang, Shayang, Xiantao and Hanchuan, and joins the Yangtze River in Wuhan.
Hanjiang River is a tributary of the Yangtze River and occupies an important position in history. Often juxtaposed with the Yangtze River, Huaihe River and Yellow River, they are collectively called "Jianghuai Hehan". The Hanjiang River flows through Shaanxi and Hubei provinces and joins the Yangtze River at Longwang Temple in Hankou, Wuhan.
