Which province is Honghu?

Honghu Lake is a city in Hubei Province.

Honghu city, hosted by Jingzhou City. Located in the south-central part of Hubei Province, at the southeast end of Jianghan Plain, it is named after Honghu Lake, the largest lake in China, bordering the Yangtze River in the southeast and facing Jiayu County, chibi city and Linxiang City in Hunan Province across the river. Honghu is connected to Jianli in the west; Dongjing River is adjacent to Hannan District and Xiantao City, with a total area of 25 19 square kilometers.

Honghu city scenic spots

Lantian Eco-tourism Scenic Area was rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

Wulin historical scenic spot. Wulin is located in the east of honghu city 15km, facing Chibi Mountain in chibi city across the river, and is a rare hilly area in Jianghan Plain. The famous Battle of Red Cliffs "burning Wulin" happened here.
