Architectural evolution of Longli ancient city

Longli, formerly known as Jingwucheng, Longbiao Village and Longli, belongs to Longbiao County established in the seventh year of Tang Wude (AD 624) and belongs to Tanyang County of Xuzhou.

From the Yuan Dynasty to the seventh year of Zhizhi (1322), the barbarians in Longli were set up for a long lawsuit and returned to Huguang to become a state.

In the third year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1370), Longliwei was built, and the town was added with "Five Kaiweis", which still belonged to Chengzhou.

In A.D. 1385, Zhu Zhen, the sixth son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty, mobilized the troops of nine provincial governments in the south of the Yangtze River to suppress the Wuzhou uprising, set up a thousand houses in Longli, and built an ancient city, which was under the jurisdiction of Wukaiwei, the capital of Huguang, and ordered more than 0/000 officers and men to settle down and defend the border. During the Yongle period, this ancient castle was rebuilt.

In the fifteenth year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1658), Longli was changed from Longsheng to Longli.

In the twentieth year of Kangxi (168 1), Liping House moved to Guidong Road, and Longli was later attached to Liping House in Guizhou. In the fifth year of Yongzheng (1727), Kaitai County was changed from Kaiwei in the fifth year, and Longli belonged to Kaitai County. At the end of Xuan Tong, Kaitai County was changed to Liping County.

In the 31st year of the Republic of China (1942), it was assigned to Jinping County.

1999 was established by Guizhou Provincial People's Government as a national cultural village and ecological museum jointly built by China and Norway.

In 2003, it was approved by Guizhou Provincial People's Government as a provincial-level scenic spot. In 2004, it was listed as one of the first three key comprehensive tourist areas in Guizhou Province-Li, Cong, Rong (and Tianzhu) comprehensive tourist areas.
