Qixia District, Nanjing, has a large migrant population from Anhui.

Anhui people account for 29.4% of Nanjing’s migrant population, making them the largest population from other provinces in Nanjing. Nanjing was once the capital of Jiangnan Province, and it is close to western Anhui. It is even building an intercity railway with Wuhu, Ma'anshan and Chuzhou in western Anhui, so many Anhui people flowed into Nanjing.
