How many ethnic minorities are there in Qinghai?

The main ethnic minorities that have lived in Qinghai include the Tibetans, Hui, Tu, Salar and Mongolians. Among them, the Tu and Salar are unique to Qinghai.

The Tu Nationality mainly live in Qinghai Huzhu Tu Autonomous County. Minhe and Datong counties in Qinghai and Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County in Gansu are also relatively concentrated.
