In order to ensure the realization of the goal of sending clear water from one river to the North, Zhushan has shut down and rejected more than 60 polluting enterprises, implemented the "ecological tough battle" and "green action plan" with high standards, vigorously strengthened ecological construction, environmental protection, pollution control and soil and water conservation, and launched a comprehensive water quality defense war in the water source area, making the water source area of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project a household name. Under the leadership of the county party committee and government, people in Zhushan County have successively implemented environmental protection measures such as returning farmland to forests, planting trees, returning farmland to grassland, and relocating immigrants, which have made great contributions to this project.

After years of hard work, the environment of Zhushan has undergone earth-shaking changes. Less arable land, more forests; There is less yellow and more green; There is less waste of water, and more people save water resources; There is less sewage, and the river becomes clear; With less waste gas, the sky turns blue; There are fewer people littering casually, and the streets are cleaner. Environmental protection has become everyone's knowledge, and water saving has become people's conscious action.

Although the middle route project of South-to-North Water Diversion Project has been officially opened, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project is not over yet, and neither is our labor enthusiasm. In the days to come, we people in Zhushan County will, as always, cooperate with the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and continue to make contributions to the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, so that this project can be successfully completed and one river and clear water can stay in the North and Beijing forever.
