Can I drive in Macau with a Mainland driver’s license?

You can drive in Macau with a Chinese driver's license, but there are currently restrictions on car types and are only applicable to light vehicles. Mainland residents who hold a qualified mainland driver's license can drive directly without registration for the first 14 days. If they exceed 14 days, they must register with the Public Security Police Traffic Department. Mainland residents cannot exchange for a Macau driver's license.
