How to apply for a visa to Myanmar?
Since September 20 16, 18, Myanmar has officially cancelled the service of traveling to landing visa. Visitors to Myanmar need to apply for a visa in advance or apply for a visa online to enter Myanmar. Since the implementation of online visa application in Myanmar, 42 countries or regions have been allowed to apply for online visas (including China). Just log on to the website of Myanmar Embassy or Myanmar Immigration Bureau to apply. The application fee is $50, and you can get a tourist visa with a term of 28 days and a validity period of 3 months.
Myanmar visa processing flow:
1. Prepare visa application materials and provide corresponding documents according to different visa types;
2. Bring the designated materials to embassies and consulates in China, Myanmar to apply for a visa;
3. Get the visa, and check whether the start and end time of the validity period of the visa, the number of days of stay and personal information are correct. If you find any mistakes, contact the embassy or consulate in time.
Precautions:
1. At present, the e-visa in Myanmar is only a tourist visa, and the visa application for business has not yet been opened. Business visas and the like can still be used in landing visa.
2. Ordinary visas and electronic visas should be processed at least one week in advance. If you have urgent business needs, please call the Myanmar Embassy in China for consultation.
3. Validity: valid within 90 days after the visa is issued.
4. Duration of stay: 28 days for ordinary visa, electronic visa and landing visa.
5. Number of entries: single entry.
Legal basis: Article 20 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration stipulates that foreigners who are in urgent need of entry due to humanitarian reasons, urgent business, emergency repair of projects or other urgent entry needs may apply for a port visa at a port approved by the State Council to the port visa authority entrusted by the Ministry of Public Security (hereinafter referred to as the port visa authority).
Travel agencies that organize inbound tourism in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state may apply to the port visa authorities for group tourist visas.
When applying for a visa to a port visa authority, foreigners shall submit their passports or other international travel documents, as well as relevant materials on the reasons for their application, go through relevant formalities according to the requirements of the port visa authority, and enter the country from the port where they apply for a visa.
The visa issued by the port visa authority is valid for one entry, and the stay period indicated in the visa shall not exceed 30 days.
