Introduction of Flower Drum Opera in Southern Anhui

The ancient painting drama in southern Anhui is a kind of Henan Han drama. Originated in Hua Gutiao, it is one of the five major operas in Anhui, and it is popular in southern Anhui, southern Jiangsu and adjacent areas in central Zhejiang, especially in Xuanzhou, langxi, Guangde and Ningguo. One hundred years ago, lantern songs from Hua Gutiao and Henan on Hubei East Road flowed into southern Anhui with immigrants. They first sang with the folk songs and dances of the Han nationality in southern Anhui, and then received the artistic influence of brothers' operas such as Anhui Opera and Beijing Opera, and gradually developed into a local opera.
