What if I can't find I-94?

Since the United States adopted paperless I-94 after May 20 13, you can find your own I-94 spreadsheet on the website of the Immigration Bureau and download it according to your own website.

However, I met the worst. I can't find my information on the internet at all. I tried to enter it many times. The website keeps saying that I-94 can't be found. At the critical moment of applying for OPT, this is really a particularly annoying thing! I don't think a situation like mine will be a special case. Maybe in the future, some students will be as anxious as I am when I need I-94 urgently, so I will record the solution and hope to help others.

First go to https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html and enter your personal information, and you can get your I-94 back. If you enter the correct personal information, the website always displays "Not Found". Go to this website to check/find the nearest Customs and Border Protection in http://cbp.gov/XP/cgov/toolbox/contacts/deferred (the nearest to Champagne is Chicago). Call first to explain your situation, then make an appointment, and then take your I-20 and passport to the immigration office to apply for documents. They will help you re-enter the record and give you a paper copy. The whole process of going to the immigration office for paperwork takes 5 minutes to an hour.
