Time to apply for a refugee card in the United States

There is no fixed timetable for refugee applications in the United States. Usually, we will decide whether to accept your application within "3 months". If you accept your application, you will enter the' processing procedure', which includes background check and verification of your application reasons. Once you have passed the processing procedure, you can finally decide whether to grant you "refugee or asylum" status. The whole time is about 1-3 years. If it doesn't pass, it will take longer to rise to the civil law department.
