Dialect slang in Rongchang area

After liberation, Sichuan University and other academic institutions came to Rongchang to investigate and study local dialects and dialects, and made a report. Rongchang dialect belongs to the "Chongqing language family" in the southwest mandarin area. Its language vocabulary is not much different from Putonghua, but for the following reasons, it has also formed five different language families and a large number of dialects: 1, a large number of immigrants from Hunan, Hubei and Guangdong in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, forming Hakka dialects such as Yongzhou and Guangdong; 2. Adjacent to neighboring counties, they influence each other to form Chongqing, Longnei and Luzhou; 3. Paoge prevailed in the late Qing Dynasty, and many "slang" became popular and infiltrated into dialects; 4. In the old society, superstitions and taboos were valued, and many "ominous things" were renamed and added with many words; 5. Trade terms of different occupations; 6. After the Anti-Japanese War, institutions and factories moved inward, and foreigners stayed respectful, bringing some foreign words.

The dialects of various language families in Rongchang District are:

Chongqing language family: also called "Huguang dialect" and "local dialect". Mainly distributed in the 30-mile area around Fucheng and outside other language families. Its language features are: clear distinction between rising tone and falling tone; All the ancient consonants turn into rising tone, and all the voiced initials of the ancient consonants turn into unvoiced sounds; The tongue coating is not obvious. The sound of H is confused with the sound of F. For example, "rape blossoms are bright yellow" is said to be "rape blossoms flying", especially in the peak height area.

The dialects of this language family are similar to those of Yongchuan, Dazu and other neighboring areas, and most of them are the products of the combination of Huguang dialect and indigenous dialect, which has the widest coverage in our region and belongs to the main language family.

Yongzhou language family: also known as Yongzhou dialect. Mainly distributed in most places such as Renyi and Ronglong, north of Yashan and Luoguan Mountain. For example, pig is pronounced as bureau, teaching as beard teaching, being as day, shaping people and catching up with foreign countries.

The dialects of this language family are similar to those of Lishi in Longchang and Shishi in Neijiang, and their distribution is relatively narrow.

Lu Xian language family: also known as "southern Sichuan dialect" and "Luzhou dialect". Mainly distributed in Qingjiang, Qingsheng, Shuanghe, Gongan and other places adjacent to the border of Lu Xian County. Its phonetic features are roughly the same as those of "Longnei Language Family", except for voiced and voiced sounds (with gifts); There are many "sub", such as "slide bar" and "cylinder bowl".

The dialect of this language family is very close to the spoken languages of Yutian and Tianbao in Lu Xian County, with Qingjiang as the center and narrow epidemic area.

Cantonese Department: Also known as "Cantonese accent" and "Hakka dialect". Mainly distributed in Panlong, Dajian, Jiulong, Shi Tian, Longji, Ronglong, rape and other places, as well as a few families all over the region.
