The Mexican plot introduction of this film.

The Mexican (19 13) describes how a Mexican youth living in the United States supports the revolutionary struggle of the motherland with the background of the Mexican revolution of 19 10.

Synopsis: The story revolves around a young man named Jerry Wilbates (played by Brad Pitt). He is a street thug who does nothing all day, living by cheating and stealing, but he is lucky to have a beautiful girlfriend. However, he was unlucky these days and received two ultimatums in succession. One of his eldest brothers gave him an arduous task and ordered him to leave for Mexico at once to find a legendary antique pistol Mexican, or else he would look good.

The other is from his precious girlfriend Samantha (Julia Roberts), who orders Jerry to break up with his friends and never see her again. Now Jerry is in a dilemma. Both of them are people who can't be offended. After much deliberation, Jerry decided to write the last blog. He promised Samantha that when she found the gun, she would take her away and turn over a new leaf.

Film evaluation

This film blends romance, thriller, comedy and crime. Peter and Roberts did not continue the usual Hollywood rule of handsome men and beautiful women, but showed a new relationship between the hero and heroine that made the audience shine. I didn't see the scene of Peter and Roberts shooting sparks. One was looking for a gun in Mexico, and the other was kidnapped in Las Vegas. Although these two actors are still brilliant, they always disappoint their fans.

In fact, the structure of this film has a certain American independent production style: absurd plot, unconventional characters, more or less subversion of genre films, deliberate exaggeration and vague moral concepts. The film unfolds in two clues. On the one hand, it constantly emphasizes the madness and mystery of Mexico and Peter's grumpiness; On the other hand, it made a big fuss between Roberts and the "gentle killer" who kidnapped her. But there is no organic close connection between the two clues, which makes them appear fragmented.
