The Mexican (19 13) describes how a Mexican youth living in the United States supports the revolutionary struggle of the motherland with the background of the Mexican revolution of 19 10.

Synopsis: The story revolves around a young man named Jerry Wilbates (played by Brad Pitt). He is a street thug who does nothing all day, living by cheating and stealing, but he is lucky to have a beautiful girlfriend. This film blends romance, thriller, comedy and crime. Peter and Roberts did not continue the usual Hollywood rule of handsome men and beautiful women, but showed a new relationship between the hero and heroine that made the audience shine. I didn't see the scene of Peter and Roberts shooting sparks. One was looking for a gun in Mexico, and the other was kidnapped in Las Vegas. Although these two actors are still brilliant, they always disappoint their fans.

In fact, the structure of this film has a certain American independent production style: absurd plot, unconventional characters, more or less subversion of genre films, deliberate exaggeration and vague moral concepts. The film unfolds in two clues. On the one hand, it constantly emphasizes the madness and mystery of Mexico and Peter's grumpiness; On the other hand, it made a big fuss between Roberts and the "gentle killer" who kidnapped her.
