Where are Shantou people?

I just read the answers from several people, and feel it necessary to say that I am a foreigner who has lived in Shantou for two years. Shantou people give me the impression that they are superior, blind and exclusive, and their cultural quality is relatively low (of course not the majority). Colleagues in other places basically don't like Shantou, just like me. So there have been locals talking about how good Shantou is. To put it mildly, the authorities are fascinated and the onlookers are clear; To put it mildly, it is arrogance.
