General situation of Dehou town

Dehou Town is located in the northwest of wenshan city, 52 kilometers away from the urban area. It borders Hongdian Township and Matang Town in the east, Laohuilong town Township and Leshichong Township in the south, Laozhai Township and Mingjiu Township in mengzi city in the west and Ashe Township and Pingyuan Town in Yanshan County in the northwest. It has an area of 3,055,654,38+0 km2 and a population of 35,800 (another figure in 2006 was 36,055). Jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages: Dehou, Lexi, Chaoyang, Lelong, Shuijie, Tieze, Dalong, Gangu, Hu Ming, Huhai, Enoch, Yinaihei, Yalachong and Gu Fei. The town government is stationed in Dehou.

The elevation of the whole town is between 138 1m ~ 2246m, and the dam area accounts for 40% of the total area. Dehou River (a tributary of Panlong River) is an ancient river that flows through the territory, including Hongfengba, Siqingba, Laowuhai and Hu Ming Reservoir. The gondola crossed the border by road. There are mineral deposits of manganese, coal, iron and aluminum. There are natural lakes in the north: Lao Wuhai, Hongfeng Reservoir and Siqingba. The historic site is Weilai Stone Pavilion, which was built in the 20th year of Jiaqing (18 15).
