Introduction to Dongtang Town

Dongtang Town is located 12 kilometers southwest of Renhua County. It has jurisdiction over 16 village committees, 1 neighborhood committee, and 196 village groups. The town covers an area of ??192.8 square kilometers. Provincial Highway S246 runs through the town. It is rich in coal, zinc and lead, limestone, iron ore and other mineral resources. In 2002, it was established as one of the central towns by the Provincial People's Government.
