How to deal with Australian immigrant pets going abroad

Many immigrants still want to bring their pets when applying for family immigration. But I don't know how to go through the formalities of pet "immigration". Step 1: Go to the website of the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Bureau (AQIS) to find out what kind of pets belong to. China's inland areas belong to six categories and are not recognized countries. To bring pets into Australia, pets must live in recognized countries or regions for at least 6 months, and all vaccination and blood tests must be carried out in recognized countries or regions. The common way is to enter Australia through Hong Kong, which belongs to four categories. Step 2: Cats and dogs must be implanted with chips. Don't do any blood test for cats and dogs before chip implantation, because the test result report must have the chip number. Veterinarians implant the chip under the skin of pets by injection, and the chip contains the global animal identification code, which will keep its electronic identity as a pet for life. Prepare all veterinary certificates and other related documents, arrange special containers for pets, and send pets to Australia by plane. Step 5: After arriving in Australia, the pets will be sent directly to the isolation center by AQIS staff. Owners are not allowed to visit pets at the airport, and the isolation center will provide designated visiting hours. When the cat and dog quarantine period is over, you can go home with your master.
