What attracts Mexicans to immigrate to the United States?

Real estate is a factor that attracts immigrants. The prosperity of the American real estate market in the past decade has inspired Mexicans to immigrate to the United States. Mexican immigrants are not because of work or family relations, but because of the prosperity of the real estate industry.

In addition, the aging population in Mexico means less competition in the labor market. However, in the 1990s, many Mexicans joined the labor force and could only move to the United States north of the border.

Despite the weak economic recovery in the United States, from 1980s to 1990s, several generations of Mexicans entered the northern part of the United States. Automobile manufacturers, including Volkswagen, Ford Motor Company and General Motors, employ thousands of workers to work in auto parts factories in northern Mexico. Roads and railway lines on the American border in northern Mexico attract more investors and many Mexicans.

The United States recruited workers from Mexican farms to harvest crops until 1965, when the United States first restricted the number of Latin American immigrants. 1986, adopted federal laws to regulate immigration. Arizona surpassed Los Angeles and Chicago to become a tourist destination for Mexicans, and settled in the south and midwest of the town.
