What are the language requirements for immigrating to Canada?

Canada requires IELTS scores for new immigrants, and French scores if the application place is Quebec. IELTS score requirements are as follows: federal EE requires CLB7 or above, employers sponsor immigrants CLB4-5, and some investment immigrants require CLB4 or above.

At present, Ontario employer-sponsored immigration is the only immigration program in Canada that does not require IELTS scores. You can easily get a maple leaf card if you meet the immigration conditions.
