Who is Lan Keer?

The death of Lan Keer refers to the drowning of Lan Keer (or Lin Keer, English: Elisa Lam, April 3, 1991-213), a Canadian Chinese, in the water tower on the roof of Cecil Hotel Hotel in downtown Los Angeles from January to February, 213.

Because of its bizarre place of death and a series of strange actions in the hotel elevator captured by the monitor before its disappearance, it has become the focus of attention. On June 2th, the Los Angeles County Forensic Medicine Office concluded that Lan Keer died because of accidental drowning, and according to his behavior before his death, Lan Keer suffered from bipolar disorder, which was a major factor in his death.

Lan Keer traveled to California alone in January, 213, and disappeared in cecil hotel, downtown Los Angeles on the 31st. On the 19th of the following month, his body was found in the water tower on the roof of the hotel.

cecil hotel is famous for three murders and multiple suicides, and was the lodging place of serial killers Richard Ramirez in 1985 and Jack Unterweger in 1991.

Lan Keer's parents are Hong Kong immigrants, who immigrated to Canada in 199s and worked in the catering industry in the Greater Vancouver area. Lan Keer graduated from Vancouver University Hill Secondary School. Some media said that she had majored in psychology at the University of British Columbia, but the university declined to comment.
