How to find a job in Canada
After new immigrants who have just got a green card set foot on Canadian territory, the first consideration is to find a satisfactory job as soon as possible, but it is not easy to get it right away. However, it is possible to find a job to make a living first, and then slowly find a job that suits you. To find a job in Canada, you must first obtain a social insurance card, that is, a social insurance number card (SIN for short), commonly known as a "work permit" or a "work card". The card can be collected at the immigration office at the place of entry or at the nearby Canadian employment center after entry. There is no charge for handling this card, and the number is permanently valid and can accompany you for life. After obtaining the social insurance number card, you should carefully prepare a cover letter, briefly introducing your education, work experience, work skills, professional qualifications and other basic information, as well as the job you want to do and your communication and contact information. You also need to attach important documents or their official translations that can best prove your above qualifications and abilities, such as graduation diplomas and vocational qualification certificates. Many developed countries in Europe and America take a fancy to vocational qualification certificates, and so does Canada. Some professional positions cannot be hired only by academic qualifications, but also by professional or vocational qualifications. For example, enterprises such as lawyers, teachers, doctors, nurses, accountants, engineers, scientists and artisans must hold national qualifications recognized by relevant Canadian institutions or internationally before they can be allowed to be employed or start their own businesses.
