Preparation before going abroad

Be sure to check all your travel documents in person, such as passport, student permit approval letter from Singapore Immigration Bureau, visa issued by Singapore Embassy, exit card issued by China public security department, health certificate (yellow book) issued by China epidemic prevention department, etc.

Departure and boarding

International flights generally start check-in two hours before the plane takes off and end check-in 30 minutes before the plane takes off. What needs to be shown to the counter staff are: China passport, visa and air ticket. Check the luggage and keep the luggage tag.

Matters needing attention in border inspection

Going abroad must go through the border inspection, and the documents to be submitted include: China passport, letter of approval from Singapore Immigration Bureau, visa issued by Singapore Embassy, and exit card issued by China Exit-Entry Administration Bureau. Need to bear the cost of living and studying for at least six months. Customs officers can truthfully declare and explain the currency they carry with them when inquiring about it. Never lie or hide cash. Once found, it may be confiscated or cause unnecessary trouble.
