What's the difference between 186 and 187?
1. Other conditions are the same as visa 186.
2. Changing from temporary residence to permanent residence: 186 IELTS requires CET-4 or above. 5. No occupational assessment, but you need to hold a 457 visa for two years; 187 is the same as 186 in this respect.
3. Direct application for permanent residence: 186 visa requires applicants to have more than three years of work experience in Australia and must pass the occupational assessment.
