This is the passport loss report mentioned above, which is actually just one page. .
(6) Please use A4 paper to describe in detail how your passport was lost or damaged.
(This is to tell how you lost your passport and how you searched carefully but couldn’t find it. It’s best to explain that you tried your best to look for it but still couldn’t find it. It should be available in both Chinese and English. In fact, Just recall what happened before and after you lost your passport, when, where you lost it, where you went to look for it, etc.)
(7) Other application matters required by the consular officer. related materials.
(Usually, you just give the above information to the staff of the consulate, and then they will give you something like a receipt and ask you to wait for a phone call. There is no other information to fill in. The application fee is due on the same day No need to pay it, you have to pay it when you go to get a new passport)
This type of application must be reported to the country to verify the applicant's identity and passport status, so it takes a long time and cannot be processed on an expedited basis. After the passport is produced, the consular officer will notify the applicant of the time to collect the passport, which usually takes 20-30 working days.
That’s basically it. Remember, if you decide to apply for a new passport, go to the police station and report it lost immediately. This is safer.
