How did country music develop?

Country music originated in the rural areas in the south and west of the United States in the early 20th century, and was formed in the 1920s. The origin of country music can be regarded as the style of national music brought by ethnic immigrants in American mountainous areas, and then blended with blues. Country music abandons the "electronic" sound () widely used in pop music. Most importantly, the singer's voice is the symbol of country music (folk songs). Almost all singers of country music have accents, at least in rural areas.

Country music generally has eight themes: first, love; Second, lovelorn; Third, cowboy humor; Fourth, have fun; 5. Rural lifestyle; Sixth, the pride of the region; Seven, the family; Eight, god and the country. The first two themes are by no means unique to country music, but the last six themes distinguish country music from other American pop music genres.
