Do immigrants need China's consent?

You don't have to immigrate, but you need China's permission to immigrate to China.

As long as you have a personal passport, there is no problem after the approval of the US Immigration Service. This is a personal problem.

Foreigners applying for permanent residence in China shall abide by the laws of China, be in good health and have no criminal record, and meet the following conditions:

Have no immediate family members abroad, take refuge with immediate family members in China, have reached the age of 60, have lived in China for five consecutive years, have lived in China for not less than nine months every year, and have stable living security and residence.
