Can candidates from other provinces in Sichuan Province take the college entrance examination locally?

I don't think so. Sichuan is recognized for both household registration and student status.

Sichuan will improve the examination methods for candidates' registration qualifications and block the immigrants from the college entrance examination.

The person in charge of the Sichuan Provincial Admissions Office recently said that Sichuan Province will ban "college entrance examination immigrants". The college entrance examination candidates who register with false materials, repeat cross-provincial registration or go through abnormal household registration procedures will be disqualified for examination or admission according to relevant regulations once verified, and those who have been admitted will be cancelled.

According to the person in charge of the Sichuan Provincial Admissions Office, Sichuan Province will formulate specific registration conditions and methods for the local college entrance examination every year. This year, we will further improve a variety of college entrance examination candidates' qualification examination methods, such as double identification of household registration, verification of resident identity cards, and publicity of registration qualifications.

Sichuan provincial public security organs will also strictly follow the procedures for registered permanent residence's relocation. The personal account migration of people under the age of 18, as well as the organized collective account migration and other account migration of suspected college entrance examination immigrants will be strictly examined and checked. Anyone found to have settled illegally will contact the public security organ where the original account is located, go through the relocation procedures in registered permanent residence in time, and hold the relevant personnel accountable.
