Juntianhu Prison is located at the junction of Bajin, Hanting and Liu Yang Township, about 20 kilometers southwest of Xuancheng City, Anhui Province. National Highway 3 18 passes through the territory and is 318km away from Shanghai. The original area of the prison is 40 square kilometers, including farmland 1.5 million mu, tea garden 5,000 mu and woodland 1.0 million mu. 1.998, our prison allocated 26 square kilometers of land to support the resettlement of immigrants in the harbor reservoir area in Ningguo City, Anhui Province according to the instructions of the superior. The total prison area is 14 square kilometer, including 5,500 mu of farmland, 0,000 mu of tea garden/kloc-0 and 3,000 mu of forest land.

Born at 1958 in Tianhu prison, Shanghai Navy. Built in Jiangle and Taining counties of Fujian Province, it was formerly known as "Shanghai Local State-owned Minbei Farm". 1June, 1962, due to the need of combat readiness, it was moved to Xuancheng, Anhui Province, about 3 18 kilometers away from Shanghai. 1February, 974, the criminal was taken into custody and renamed Shanghai Navy Tianhu Farm; 1995 Prison Law was promulgated and implemented, and it was renamed as "Shanghai Navy Tianhu Prison", which has been in use ever since. In September 2004, the central prison was completed and put into use, which realized the transformation from decentralized detention to centralized detention, marking the entry of Tianjun Lake into a brand-new historical period. In 2006, it was awarded as "Shanghai Modern and Civilized Prison", in 2007, it was awarded the honorary title of National Advanced Prison by the Ministry of Justice, in 2008, it was named as a ministerial-level modern and civilized prison by the Ministry of Justice, in 201it was awarded as a civilized unit of the municipal government, and in 201it was awarded the honorary title of Shanghai May 1st Labor Award by the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions.
