Shanyin County belongs to Shuozhou City. Shanyin County is a county under the jurisdiction of China people and Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province, China. Located in the north of Shanxi Province, it borders Yingxian County in the east, Daixian County in the south, Shuocheng and Pinglu District in the west and Zuoyun, Youyu and Huairen in the north. Shanyin County has a total area of about 165 1 km2, and governs 5 towns and 7 townships. Shanyin county has a long history. As early as 6000 years ago, people lived here, belonging to Yangshao culture distribution area. Shanyin County belonged to Yu in the Spring and Autumn Period, Zhao Di in the Warring States Period and Yanmen County in the Qin Dynasty. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Shanyin County was subordinate to Mayi County and SHEN WOO County. Shanyin County was established in the seventh year of Jin Dading (1 167).
