Iran earns hundreds of billions of dollars from oil every year. Why are people still poor?

In addition, Iran is not the only oil producer in the Middle East, nor are other countries such as Saudi Arabia. Therefore, in such an international situation, even if Iran has more oil, it will not contract all the global demand. Therefore, under the competition of other countries, Iran will have an oil surplus, even if there is a lot of oil, rich resources and no market, it will not help. Therefore, people have fewer opportunities to profit from it.
