Text of immigrant mothers
American relative immigrants are divided into two categories, one is not restricted by the number of global immigrants, and the other is restricted by the number of global immigrants, which are divided into four grades according to priority.
First, relatives who are not subject to quota restrictions immigrate.
Spouses of American citizens, unmarried children under the age of 265,438+0, and parents of American citizens over the age of 265,438+0 are classified as "immediate relatives" in the immigration law.
Second, the migration of relatives is restricted by quotas.
These pro-immigrants are subject to quota restrictions, and their immigration applications are approved by the Immigration Bureau. Due to the annual quota limit, applicants have to wait for the timetable. When the timetable arrives, they can adjust their status in the United States or enter the United States with a visa from the American consulate in their great country. This kind of relatives immigrants include:
First priority, unmarried children of American citizens (FS- 1)
The first priority category includes unmarried children of American citizens of 265,438+0 or above.
The second priority is the children of permanent resident green card holders (FS-2).
The second priority category includes two subcategories:
Spouses of permanent residents/green card holders and unmarried children under the age of 2/kloc-0 (FS-2A).
Unmarried children of permanent residents/green card holders (FS-2B).
Third priority, married children of American citizens (FS-3)
This priority category includes married children of American citizens and applicants in the first priority category.
Fourth priority, brothers and sisters of American citizens (FS-4)
The fourth priority category applies to brothers and sisters of American citizens. American citizens must be at least 2 1 year old to apply for siblings based on kinship.
