The "Returning Villages to Fields" project in Huishui County was implemented in March last year. This project involves 6 natural villages along the 1 1 provincial road. It is planned to relocate about 74 farmers in the dam area, resettle more than 30,000 people, and restore 4,862 mu of paddy fields in 225. At present, three pilot projects are under construction: Pan Yun Shangzhai in Yang Fan Village of Lianjiang Street, Tianebazhai in Sandu Village of Haohuahong Town and Yangmeisi Village in Limu Village. Pan Yun Shangzhai Project is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of this year.

Huishui Lianjiang Dam, known as "the first dam in Guizhou", is more than 3 kilometers long from north to south with a total area of 9 square kilometers. The whole dam has fertile soil, contiguous rice fields, vertical and horizontal canals and villages. It is the main commodity grain base and agricultural comprehensive development zone in Huishui County, and also the famous "rice granary" in Guizhou.

In recent years, Huishui County has built an agricultural industrial park integrating leisure, entertainment and sightseeing in Lianjiang Dam, focusing on the development of three major industries: flowers and seedlings, fine vegetables and special fruits, forming a new picture of modern agriculture with "Lianjiang Flower Sea, Green World and Melon Fragrance".

However, how to maximize the land resources of Lianjiang Dam and effectively protect its ecological landscape has become a new topic for Huishui County to promote urbanization and build a landscape garden city.

According to the idea of "relocation by stages and centralized resettlement" and the principle of "relocation from dam area to mountain area, decentralization to concentration, and relocation from rural area to town", the project fully excavates the rich ecological concepts in traditional farming culture, landscape culture and human settlement culture, and carries out the construction of mountain village characteristics in ethnic areas, which is related to urban and rural planning, Lianjiang modern agricultural industrial park construction, "beautiful countryside Four Big Farmhouses" construction and urban and rural planning.

The new decoration of the project is an important place facing the mountain and water, which does not occupy cultivated land, pays attention to ecological protection and effective use of land, rationally plans the layout, supports leisure squares, flower ponds, fitness and entertainment facilities, and strives to build beautiful countryside so that immigrants are willing to come, stay and enjoy a new living environment. After moving into the new site, the original residential homestead will be reclaimed as fertile land, and land resources will be integrated to achieve a win-win situation for ecological protection and farmers to get rich.
