Where is the Chushandian Reservoir?

The proposed dam site of Chushandian Reservoir is located in Chushandian Village, Youhe Township, Shihe District, Xinyang City, the main stream of Huaihe River.

The length of the river from the dam site to the birthplace of Huaihe River is100km, and the basin area controlled by the reservoir is 2,900km2, with a total storage capacity of 1.25438+0 billion cubic meters.

The planned main dam is 3690.57m long (including 429.57m for concrete dam and 326 1 m for earth dam), and the maximum dam height is 34.5m.. The designed irrigation area is 500,000 mu, the installed hydropower capacity is 2,900 kilowatts, and the project investment is about 9,869.6 million yuan.
