Article 3 People's Republic of China (PRC) does not recognize dual citizenship of China citizens.

Article 4 One or both parents are citizens of China, and I was born in China and have China nationality.

Fifth parents or one of them is a citizen of China, I was born in a foreign country and have China nationality; However, if one or both parents are citizens of China and have settled in a foreign country, they will have foreign nationality at birth, but will not have China nationality.

Article 6 Parents who are stateless or whose nationality is unknown have settled in China. I was born in China and have China nationality.

Article 7 Foreigners or stateless persons who are willing to abide by the Constitution and laws of China and meet one of the following conditions may apply for naturalization as citizens of China:

1, a close relative of China people;

2. Settle in China;

3. There are other legitimate reasons.

Two, one parent is a citizen of China, and the other parent is a foreigner's child.

According to the relevant provisions of Article 4 of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China, one or both parents are China citizens, and their children are born in China, have China nationality, and have obtained the household registration of China's parents. However, children cannot have China nationality and foreign nationality at the same time (from the perspective of China nationality), because China does not recognize that China citizens have dual nationality, whether they are adults or children.

If at least one of the parents of a child is a citizen of China, the child can be regarded as a citizen of China unless one of the following circumstances occurs:

2. China's parents have obtained permanent residency abroad or become foreign citizens.

Third, the specific process for children to apply for China nationality.

1. Update the account with the child's birth certificate and China parents' ID cards.

2. Apply for China international travel passport with the updated household registration book, ID card and two-inch passport photo (if necessary).

1. If you want your child to acquire foreign nationality, you don't need to apply for a China passport.

If you need to apply for foreign nationality, it will be easier for big cities to accept it, because big cities have accepted many such applications. However, some small cities may face more problems because the relevant local government agencies lack such experience; However, these documents need to be processed at the place where the parents' China hukou is located.

Even if you plan to let your child acquire China nationality, it is suggested that you provide your child with a Chinese name and a mbth on the birth certificate in case the rules and regulations change in the future or the child wants to change his nationality in the future.

Only when one parent is a citizen of China and the other is a foreign citizen can you choose two names. If both parents are China citizens, only one China name is allowed; If both parents are foreign citizens, only one foreign name is allowed. It is important to provide two names because:
