Psychological adjustment of immigrants

As humans prepare to move to Mars and colonize it, experts warn that it will not be as easy as we think.

Space agencies like NASA believe that when the technology is mature, humans will move to Mars. Some experts have warned that technical problems are not the biggest problem that human beings encounter when they move to Mars, and the main obstacle that human beings must overcome will be psychological obstacles.

Dr Federico Caprotti of the University of Exeter said: "The biggest obstacle to settling on Mars is not technical, but psychological."

Remote tasks have caused psychological problems that cannot be answered by current space science knowledge. For example, the International Space Station can return quickly, and you can feel the psychological approach of the earth. But Mars won't allow us to do this, which will put a lot of pressure on astronauts. The journey may take about 400 days-although the experimental vasimr can speed up.

During the trip to Mars, astronauts need to squeeze into a spaceship for a long journey of up to half a year, coupled with the lack of real-time communication with the earth (the signal takes 4 to 24 minutes), which may be a huge challenge for astronauts. At the same time, on Mars, astronauts may only live in small buildings, which further increases the psychological pressure of astronauts.

The prospect of living on Mars has attracted the attention of all countries, and private space companies such as the world's major space powers and space exploration technology companies are working hard to achieve this goal.

Buzz Aldrin, a NASA astronaut, said that Mars colonization could be achieved in 2040, and billionaire elon musk was even more ambitious. He said that he hopes to get people into Mars by 2030.

Last year, the CEO of Space Exploration Technology Company said that the plan could be completed in about 10 years.
