Zhangbang town economy

Township enterprises in Zhangbang Town have developed rapidly. Dabieshan Mining Co., Ltd. exports 20,000 cubic meters of granite products annually, and Jiulongquan Mineral Water Company produces 4.6 million bottles (barrels) of high-quality mineral water annually. Internal combustion engine pumps are exported to more than ten countries such as Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, and series of products such as strawberries, potatoes, snails and fragrant rice have developed rapidly. The town is located at the southern foot of Dabie Mountain, at the junction of Qitai County in Hubei Province and Anhui Province, and in the north of Qichun County. It is the window and north gate of Qichun's opening and development. Known as "a strong town through science and technology", dedicated program-controlled telephones and mobile communications connect home and abroad, making it a paradise for people of insight at home and abroad to invest and buy houses. Domestic transportation and communication are convenient and the economy is active. It is 35km away from Qichun Railway Station of Beijing-Kowloon Railway in the south, 0/60km away from Tianhe International Airport in the west, Nanjing and Shanghai in the east, Jiujiang and Hefei in the north, and the inter-provincial second-class highway Qitai Line runs through the whole territory.
