Brief introduction of Xiaoxi town

Xiaoxi Town was originally named Xiaojiachang. According to the new records of Guang 'an Prefecture, it was called Longfeng Prefecture in ancient times. Legend has it that dragons and phoenixes are named after flying. When "Huguang fills Sichuan", there were immigrants named Xiao who built houses and set up shops here to do business. Because it is a waterway transportation hub and the only way from Quxian to Guang 'an, passers-by and vendors often stop here, so business is booming, shops are gradually increasing, and streets naturally extend. By the end of the Qing dynasty, a stone road with a length of more than 300 meters had been formed. Later, most of the original street houses were destroyed because of the war and bandits. In the decade of the Republic of China, local gentlemen Lin Gongting and Yang Ganshan took the lead in rebuilding street houses on the ruins, which took more than 20 years to form a scale.
