3. Procedures
When an immigrant friend applies for an ordinary passport, he shall submit the above-mentioned authentic and valid materials to the exit-entry administration organ of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level where his household registration is located.
4. Preventive measures
After receiving the notice that the public security organ approves going abroad, you can apply for a passport to the entry-exit administration department.
When collecting a passport, you must check the relevant information, such as whether the applicant's name and place of birth are correct, whether the passport holder's signature and the seal of the passport issuing authority are complete, and whether the date and validity period of the passport are correct. If there is any mistake or omission, it should be pointed out immediately and applied for correction. You are not allowed to modify or add anything to your passport.
After you get your passport, you should hurry up, prepare all kinds of corresponding documents, and apply for a visa or entry permit at the embassy or consulate of the destination country.
Second, the visa
1. What is a visa?
Visa refers to the endorsement, seal or label of the passport or travel document of another country's citizens by the competent authorities at home or abroad, indicating that the holder has the reason for entering the country, the time allowed to stay or the permission to travel to other countries through its territory.
2. Visa type
According to the time classification, it can be divided into: short-term visas, that is, visas that stay in the destination country for less than 3 months, and their application time is relatively short; Long-term visas, that is, staying in the destination country for more than 3 months, generally take a long time to apply.
According to the conventional reasons for entry and exit, it can be divided into: diplomatic visa, official visa, immigrant visa, non-immigrant visa, courtesy visa, tourist visa, work visa, study visa, business visa and family visa. Every country is different.
According to the entry and exit situation, it can be divided into six categories: exit visa, entry visa, entry visa, re-entry visa and transit visa.
Third, going abroad for notarization.
Settle abroad, study abroad, visit relatives, etc. You must go to the notary office to notarize your birth, marital status, kinship, education, experience, professional title, and have not received criminal punishment.
Among them, when notarizing work experience, the notary office will prove the authenticity of work experience at a certain stage according to the applicant's application, which is mainly used for the applicant's need to go abroad for job hunting and labor export. The notarization of work experience only proves the applicant's work experience, not the party's work experience. This certificate only proves the domestic work experience, and the experience that happened abroad is not proved.
Passport, visa and notarization are three completely different concepts, and immigrant applicants must make it clear.
