Legal analysis: Even if you get a US green card, you are still a Chinese citizen. According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Laws, green card holders are foreigners who do not have U.S. nationality or U.S. citizenship. Chinese citizens can lose their Chinese nationality only if their application to renounce Chinese nationality is approved.
Legal basis: Article 11 of the "Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China" If your application for renunciation of Chinese nationality is approved, you will lose your Chinese nationality.
