I think another thing is that working abroad will be particularly lonely. If you work in China, you and your relatives and friends will at least be in the same country, or possibly in the same city. But if you go abroad to work, it's completely different, because you may really be the only one. You can't bring the whole family, can you? That's not a part-time job, it's an immigration.
