3. After getting the marriage certificate, go to the notary office designated by the civil affairs department for notarization. They will send the notarial certificate to SEF in Taiwan Province Province.

SEF will complete the notarization after receiving the information, and your husband will take this notarial certificate to the entry-exit department where the household registration is located to go through the formalities for you to enter Taiwan.

The Immigration Bureau will send you a copy of the entry permit. You can use this copy to apply for your certificate in the mainland. After getting the certificate in mainland China, you can go to Taiwan Province Province.

After arriving in Taiwan Province Province, I went to the household registration office to get married with my husband.

Your husband will get a new ID card, and your name will appear in the spouse column of his ID card. ....

This is a general procedure with some details. For example, you'd better ask the Immigration Bureau to send you the original, or you have to go to Hongkong to get the original, you need an interview when you enter Taiwan Province for the first time, etc ... The whole procedure will take three to six months at the earliest, because some documents in the middle need to be notarized by the two sides.

Travel documents from the mainland to Taiwan Province Province will be issued in the public security unit where your household registration is located in about one week.
