The United States has failed to live up to its status as an immigrant country.

The composition of a nation should be viewed from two angles, one is blood relationship and the other is culture. There are Koreans, Mongolians, Kazakhs and Russians in China. They don't belong to the Han nationality by blood, but they belong to the Chinese nation by culture. Similarly, people who enjoy American citizenship belong to the United States of America. What unites a nation is not only blood, but also political identity and cultural identity.
